its bad enuff not having the max, but my CF hood probably wont ship until tomorrow, and then will take 10-14 days to get here. ugh. that means the body shop can have my car nearly done, except for the damn hood, and itll have to sit there for an extra week cuz shipping takes forever. not that SCO is doing a bad job, i just wish they were on the easy coast, not in AZ.

lets just hope i can put my CF trunk on myself, and its not as bad as aligning a hood.

More than likely you'll see it sooner than that. VIS drop-ships for us and so long as its in stock, should go out Friday when they re-open or worst case Monday and the actual delivery time is only 3-5 business days..

Nah I've got much more at risk by posting this than Ryan does They are closed today for the Chinese New Year and inventory, but hopefully they can get it out tomorrow for ya.

you were right Steve, it went out on friday. surprisingly enough, it was sent out air freight. i thought it was going ground all the way to NJ, but the shipping company, Allstate, when i track it, it says it departed LAX and is going to EWR (Newark). im surprised and impressed, and hopefully, this will get me my Max back sooner

My apologies in advance for the unabashed thread-jacking, but I'm curious: is the stock Max hood aluminum like the one on the G? I've never considered CF before, but I actually am now. You could spray a little laundry starch on something you bought from Victoria's Secret and when it dries, you'd have something stronger than a G35's hood. Heck, if you look at it too long, a dent forms. Nevermind what happens when a rock hits it. Hence, my interest in CF, and why I looked at this thread. Hope your's works out well -- please let us know.

my cf trunk i can't align.
i'v tried sooo many times.
it seems to unalign itself while it's on the car. also be carful putting the screws in! if you over tighten them it snaps the fiberglass and your screwed.
