the motor mounts are good for getting rid of wheel hop if you have any. I dont think the wheel hop occurs too badly in autos, so if you are auto i wouldnt worry about it

Don't forget about his Skyline drivetrain.

Strange that he knows how to twin-turbo his maxima, but doesn't know what motor mounts are good for.

In third gens wheel hop happens so easily when a mount is shocked. I had to drive for like a week like that then the tranny went dead. I wonder if they're related.

Probably too hard for you and your friend who are doing the Skyline conversion.

YOU can't; somebody else could This is like a guy asking what the purpose of fins is on a rocket, but at the same time presumes to think he knows how to build a proper solid state power plant for it.

Guys seriously... I find my 5th gen goes faster if you completely take out the motor mounts.. while you're at it, just completely take out the VQ (which makes the car lighter) and cut a hole in the drivers side floor... well just use the flintstone's technique

While you are at it, for more propulsion, add that finless rocket that Skoorb was talking about, and hope that it is still heavy enough not to take flight, but of course with the skyline conversion, there should be enough downforce to prevent that...right?
