dumb questions about the auto-stick

well like i mentioned before im getting a new car, now its between the 05 maxima or the 05 G35

This may be a dumb question but I just want to make sure.. Would constantly using the stick shifter hurt the transmission/engine in the long run (assuming i generally shift between 2500 and 3500 rpm)
And is it ok or bad to change from automatic to the manual mode while driving?
And should I let go of the gas before i shift (like in a real stick-shift)?

It's meant to be driven the way you're descirbing. If its a NEW car it'll be under warranty if anything DOES happen.

make sure you use the gas to go straight and the breaks to stop, anything else might hurt the car
