Slightly Bothered with this whole CA/NLEV thing
I convinced myself that my Maxima was a CA/NLEV emission spec until tonight. I kept looking for a ss y-pipe that was CA/NLEV but never found one. I just discovered I was a Fed-spec. I figured I live in California and always thought, hey CA = all California cars. Oh well, I guess I'm relieved, now I can order my Cattman ss y-pipe.
HOW ABOUT THIS
I never in a million years would have thought my car was a Cali-spec. IT IS. i looked at the underhood info and it is a CALI-SPEC. Ok not so bad right, but i bought the FED spec y-pipe from WSP on the deal i made with them and it fit fine, no missing holes or anything. What is the deal, my car is a 95 so maybe that has something to do with it.

I have a CA model and i'm all the way in NJ. It kinda sucks seeing all these sensors and whatnot. Stillen makes a Y-pipe for a CA emissions.
