less parasitic drag. the compressor itself weighs around 15-20lbs so removing that takes out unneeded weight in the cooler weather. i am not suggesting that kind of weight reduction is cause to jump up and down about but it does add up in the scheme of things. i have mine bypassed with a 4 ribbed belt and you can feel the difference down low even with my auto. i believe he has a 4 rib instead of the stock 6 rib as well.
oh yeah, by the way. congrats matt.

I could'nt think of another Maxima owner more worthy to receive this honor. SR makes you feel proud to be a Maxima owner when you see what he has accomplished with his Maxima N/A. Matt is also a huge assest to our Maxima community with big time knowledge on the VQ (a.k.a. VQ Wizard) , and helping others with their Maximas which again makes us look better.

Good On Ya Matt (SR20DEN) you deserve this one bud !! MAXIMA OF THE MONTH !

Congratulations.

I think you should get Max of the year for making everyone wonder why it looks so stock and why no air. I personally couldn't deal without my air.

Good work.

and thank you for caring about my car and hooking her up...you are nikita's hero.
