Ok guys after much thought I have decide that I might have a local performance shop install my supercharger. Does anyone have the time frame that it takes to do this install. The shop needs to know so they can quote me a set price.

I have heard anything from 4 - 8 hours..

i usually hear install prices from $500 - $800

Guru's who have done this over and over and over again like Emax and DanNY may do it in 2 hours maybe less..

Yeah these guys wanna charge me 500.00, plus they will do some dyno tuning to make sure it is not running lean. They also give a 1yr warranty on their work. Not bad I say

When I origanaly put my SC on a few months ago I lacked the proper knowledge to do the job quickly. I found my self doing each task at hand 2-3 times. When all was said and done I ended up spending approx. 40 hours on the install{it was snowing out during part of it}. Know that I have taken my SC off like 4-5 times I can remove the SC in about 15 minutes flat, but there are many other things to install other then the SC it's self, like fuel lines, piping etc. But if I was going to do the install again I would probably need about 10-15 hours to do it, but that time quote is with no lift or garage or specila tools. $500 sounds like a very reasonable price as specialy if they are going to dyno your car and all. Good luck.

4-8 hrs? uhhhhhhhh....NO.
He said a supercharger install...not a CAI!!

If they've never done it before...and have all the tools...
I'd say AT LEAST 10hrs....but prolly closer to 15hrs...
It took my mechanic 14hrs...charged me $700...

If you get the install + dyno for $500 JUMP ON IT!

That's correct it takes about 10+ Hours if you take your time,

and are knowledgable on what you are doin. You also need all the tools necessary, and on my kit stillen forgot a few bolts, clamps, etc. just small stuff. So that took time to go to the store and buy. But if they are a shop they should have some of that stuff lying around, and for 500.00 with dyno tuning, you could not ask for much more.
