The H&R Spacer Availability Thread

I've been trying to get my hands on a pair of 15mm H&R Trak+ Spacers since October and they're still backordered everywhere to my knowledge. It's absolutely ridiculous. I don't know what's up with H&R but obviously they've got a supply problem or something.

Anyway, there was a thread a month or two ago by someone who had talked to H&R and confirmed that the 20mm spacers are now available. According to my correspondence with http://www.speedaction.net/, they have both 20mm and 25mm in stock but the 15s are still backordered. Speed Action is the company who has all the H&R spacers up on eBay but despite the fact that they have auctions for 15mm spacers they do NOT have them at this time (grrrrr).

So this is a FYI for anyone who's looking for these spacers. I will update this thread when I find out more because I want these spacers ASAP.

If anyone has any info to add, please do so here! (Preferably confirmed availability info rather than rumors like "I heard that....")

CURRENT INFORMATION:
5mm - ?
15mm - still backordered
20mm - available (?)
25mm - available (?)

(Mods, if you feel this belongs in the Wheels forum, please move it, I apologize.)

Larrio, when did you receive yours? I had an order at Options Auto Salon (www.optauto.com) since October and finally canceled it last week. I was under the impression that it's just a matter of waiting for H&R to get their **** together so resellers can get them in stock.

Call them up, they are fast. I think mine took less than a week. I was able to pick them up in person since I work fairly close.

Yeah, thanks for that link...I think I will try them because I'm sick of waiting for H&R.

So the ones you had were hub-centric? How was the fit? I want perfection. These guys seem like they know what they're doing but I want your impression of their product. No vibration problems while driving or anything? Thanks.

Oh also, what's their pricing like?

I happen to know that one of my gifts under the tree will be a set of 20 mm Eibach wheel spacers. There's even a GD going on in the Group Deals/Sponsors Forum right now that includes Eibach wheel spacers.

EDIT: Thread from the dead, didn't realize.

Yeah, I bought a pair of 15mm H&R spacers back in September or October and they look great. www.optauto.com has the best prices I could find.

Are the H&R 15mm spacers a sandwich style spacer? Do they come with longer studs? Or are they the kind you bolt to the hub, then bolt the wheel to the spacer? Also, do they have the hub-centering lip thing in the middle? thnx.

They are hubcentric and they come with longer studs that are exactly 15mm longer than your stock studs so the lug nuts don't stick out any more than stock. I don't know what you mean by sandwich-style but it sounds right. Definitely no bolting. You just put the new studs in, put the spacer on top of the rotor, and put on the wheel. Perfect fit. They are everything you want in a spacer.

yeah, that sounds like what i'd need. yeah, that's sandwich style, cuz the spacer is just "sandwiched between the rotor and the wheel face. just not sure if I want 10mm or 15mm. Hmm...time to measure. Oh and I found some Eibach spacers in another thread (too lazy to find link), they look like the same deal, really nice, hub-centric, comes with studs. Decisions, decisions.
