At Home Depot? or Racing shops? Need to play with some nitrous fittings. Finally got my tranny problem fixed last night and I'll be putting in a new remote bottle opener switch tonight. MSD window switch is still not here yet, but I'm just going to hit it anyway.

Maybe at Home Depot......ask for Slic-Tite Paste with Teflon......it's made by Markal.

Actually, Pep Boys/Autozone/Advance/etc. should stock this stuff.....

Good buy at $80. I just want to get some teflon paste just in case I need to redo some fittings. I'll take a pic of the fuel pressure safety switch if you want.

Re: what was your trany problem again, Tony

My dropping resistor went south. The car shifted hard all the sudden and the check engine came on soon after. I pulled the code. I looked into the FSM and it was referring to "Line Pressure Solenoid". I was thinking damn this sucks, the solenoid is on the valve body and I'll have to drop the pan. There was this whole list of trouble shooting procedure in the FSM, so I just followed some of it. You could actually test the solenoid without dropping the pan. Anyway, I didn't get that far because there were few other things that could trigger the code. ie, bad connector and this dropping resistor. I didn't have a multi-meter so I just took it to the dealership. I paid $62 for the consult diagnostic and let the Nissan tech do the troubleshooting. It turned out it was the dropping resistor. I just mail ordered the part ~$26 and installed it myself. The local dealership wanted $60 for the part. Installation took less than 2 mins.

Here's a pic of the dropping resistor.
