Hi Steve,
I've noticed that you have an SC'ed '99 Max auto but I'm surprised that you've got a 3.25 pulley, Y pipe and all of the works! When I ordered my V2 SC I was told that I can't modify any part of the exhaust system except for the muffler. I'm slowly modifying my Max (eg. guages, oil cooler, VB upgrade, etc.) but if you've successfully modded your Max then I'm happy to know that I'm no longer restricted. Any info would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance!

How much was it and how much is it to get installed?
How much of an increase in horsepower is there?
Is the SC on all the time? Or is it like NOS where you press a button and you get a boost?

I got it last September from Stillen. I don't have my receipts with me but it was around $3300.00+/- US I think. For us Canadians it practically double the amount, not to mention taxes and handling costs. The speed shop that installed it last October for me handled mainly Mustangs and charged me $600.00 Cdn. The shop stuck with the quote despite taking more hours because of the tightness in the engine bay but now that they have the experience the next Max owner will get a more realistic quote.
I haven't dynoed it yet but I will this summer. The boost kicks in at around 2500rpm. When I first stomped it I got pretty scared and exhilirated at the same time with the rush. If you're going to get it make sure you find a shop that will do it for you and has the experience. Also make sure you have enough money.

The reason stillen doesn't recommend
any exhaust upgrades with an auto SC is the stock trans doesn't last with the extra horsepower.
If you get a VB mod and trans cooler that will help in making your trans last longer.
