Which electric turbo to get from Ebay?

lol just kidding

I finally got 15 posts so I thought I'd start my first thread and say hi.

I just picked up a '90 SE a few days ago for some general transportation while I do some repair work to my 94 Ford Probe GT. It's a super white 5 speed with black leather interior. I paid a whopping $700 for this Max, and it's in excellent shape except for some nasty rust over the rear tires. I probably won't mod it (much) but it's nice to see what people are doing to their cars outside of my Ford Probe circle. Check the link in my sig if you want to see what I dump all MY money into =)

I'm also the webmaster for our club, Ohio Probes (www.ohioprobes.com). We're a fairly large group, and had 100 - 150 people at our biggest annual meet last summer. This year we expect more.

good buy on the maxima.

also with probes, i know the probe GT's with the V6 are quite fast, i think the stock V6 5 speeds runs like a 15.6 1/4 mile.

anyways, welcome to the .org

Thanks!

The fastest Probe I'm aware of is a 1st gen (1990) that ran 11.250@129.5. That was with turbo AND n2o =)

Fastest N/A is a 2nd gen that ran 13.5@99.65

A nice turbo'd Probe will run high 13's to low 14's. Well-built N/A's run mid 14's. Your Probes with most major bolt-ons will do high 14's to low 15's.

It all pretty much depends on the driver

Welcome to the ORG. I advise you to donate and read all threads marked w/ STICKY: and FAQ threads in 3rd gen forum.

I used to have a white 90 GXE auto..loved it but hated it. (auto 160hp) =

Welcome to the org... and as the saying goes, you'll be a noob until you past my post count... don't plan on that happening.

Not much of a Ford guy... or a chevy... or their subsidiaries. Trying to sell my Mazda. I'm a pure Nissan freak, but I wouldn't mind a Dodge Ram. Toyota and Mitsu???

Honestly... you could have more fun modding that Max... especially if you put a 5 Spd in. But hey, to each his own.
