anyone have these? opiniions, problems i should know about them, recommendations... do i need to buy anything else to have them installed?

- As far as I know, you just need to get the springs (yes, they come with the height adjuster). Obviously, do the shocks at the same time unless you already have aftermarket ones on. If you keep the OEM shocks, they'll fail after a while due to the added stress of a lowered car.
- The springs fit in just fine, from what I understand - its the shocks that are hard. You have to modify the stock strut housing to make everything fit. I'm going with a Ground Control/Koni setup this Fall, but I'm having a shop with aftermarket Nissan experience do the installation. If you get it wrong, your suspension will be noisy or it could break.

i have ground controls. make sure and cut 3/4s of the bumpstop in the front... 1/2 is fine in the rear. also, with my KYBs, i had to grind a bit of the strut housing down with a wheel to get the sleeve to fit over it. after 5-10 minutes of grinding they fit perfectly. i wouldnt suggest slamming the car all the way down, unless you like bouncing down the road... and make sure to cut THREE FOURTHS of the front bump stop off... 1/2 of it just doesnt work, you wont have enough suspension travel, even if you only go down like an inch and a half to 2 inches.

for all the info folks, its appreciated. for those who replied, how long have you had them on? any problems ride wise?

 

I've only had mine on about 3 weeks now. the ride is stiff, but not super harsh or bouncy for me, as i am only down about 1.75 all around, and i cut my bumpstops properly. IF you slam your car all the way (like 2.75-3 inches) it will be bouncy, no getting around that, cuz you will have virtually NO suspension travel in the front. even if you totally removed your bumpstops, you'd have only about 1 inch of travel... and would just bang metal spring perch into metal strut housing... i would hate to hear that... or feel it.

ive had my Ground Control/koni setup for over a year. Ride is stiff and i get sick of it sometimes. I lowered it about 2.75 all around. Planning to get the Koni's shortened or see if camber plates will offer enough extra suspension travel.

I've had the GC's and Koni's for about a week now. My car is lowered about 2.5" more or less. The ride is stiff and bumpy but not too bouncy. Make sure you cut more of the bumpstop as Nealoc187 suggested.
