Today my car finally got put on the lift and my tranny got removed, the clutch got ripped apart basicaly and the flywheel got a little worped. Fortunatly the piece that is damaged on my flywheel will only cost $40 to be replaced amd it is being shipped to me overnight. Also my mechanic said my tranny looks perfectly fine and shows no evedence of damage. So all in all my mistake of putting my car in second rather then 4th cost me about $850 and 2 weeks of costant worrying. Anyways I should be getting my car back tomarrow!!! I can't wait!

Excellent. Glad to hear it was not too, too bad. I would love to see your car actually moving vs. sitting at the end of that road.

That's great news!!! You know what, getting that piece of crap clutch saved your engine/tranny. The clutch gave away instead of ripping your tranny/engine part. If it was an ACT, I'm pretty sure you would have been looking at aleast a tranny rebuild. Now, package that old clutch up and ship it back to Stillen for return. LOL

it's good that you didn't wrech your engine up, so now I know what happens when you put it into 2nd gear instead of 4th, unfortunatly it costed you $800 something...

see ya in NJ

I was pretty sure the clutch was the culprit since the same exact thing happened to me. I'm sure that let a load off! I really am glad that you'll be up and running again. My 2 cents: Nissan clutches suck, but it sounds like it giving way saved the tranny. Anyway congrats! Peace.

The color is Plasti-kote Grey Cast. You can get it from Pep Boys.
