Hey,
As for you guys that know...few months ago I joined this web forum when I was given my max. Well It didn't run and I did end up finding the issue. Come to find out the timing belt went and well...the rest was pretty bad. So now I'm getting ready to rebuilt the motor and guess what ? It's getting a turbo too. A buddy of mine gave me a good WRX turbo that I'm gonna use for the build. Using do and don't from my buddies 87' Turbo 300ZX build(same motor you know). I'm well on my way,just all a matter of getting the money together. Anyway,shortly after my mom got sick with cancer. Shortly after I stopped posting here. Anyway,after a few complications(stroke,near heart attack,serious illness). Things are starting to look up,just got a house,moms doing MUCH better and got two part time GREAT jobs. I'm making sure mom stays well while getting ready for the Air Force in another year or so. I'm driving a 88 integra as my daily beater till the max's project money is better for me to finish her. Just thought I would let you guys know what's going on.

A have a folder dedicated to the VG30E & ET along with stuff for the swap,parts,possible setups,etc..So I'm good...just waiting on money.
You can also get flamed...errr...post in on the 3rd gen forum about your turbo stuff. Just kidding. A lot of guys are skeptical until they actually see pictures of it. Don't be offended, it's just the nature of a lot of 3rd genners, since there are 500 guys who talk about turboing their max to every one guy that actually does it.
Sounds like you are on your way to doing it right. There are a couple of guys who have done a VG30E turbo and had pretty good success and can help you along. I would check in with Turbo_GXE (not sure about the spelling) or MtCookson if you have any questions. They both finished up theirs successfully. Another guy posted a few times, and he had a screaming 1/4 mile time, but I haven't seen him post in a while.
