Newbie..saying Hi

Hi all,
I'm in South Florida and have peeked in on your forums from time to time.
I bought my 1st Maxima in 94 a GXE and just gave it to my daughter who is having hard times.I put 226K miles on it myself.
It never gave me any problems and I used it for pulling my Suzuki 1200 Bandit to the Smokey mountains several times each year along with another bike. The car pulls great.
So, I just bought myself a 91 SE 5 speed with 244K miles I hope it is as dependable as the 1st.I do plan to put on some Cobra rims and eiback springs and tint the windows. Both cars are white.
Thanks for all your help.
Also if there any Suzuki Bandit,Katana or DRZ owners here my other hangout is
www.maximum-suzuki.com

My name is the same there, and there are a great group of people who love to ride and can help out with any problems you may have.

PS:Maxima's Rock!

Hi Mate,

This is an excellant forum and most of the folk are really great as long as you read the stickies and are not a serial sticky offender ..they even let us out of staters play..

Welcome and best of luck with your new Maxi...

I think there is a rule where you have to have at least 15 posts before you can make your own thread. it was made to cut down on spammers...read the stickies.

and Hi.

You gave your daughter your old Max with 226,000 and just bought a used Max with 244,000!!! My sweet goodness! I didn't know cars ran that long...

From the sounds of the new Max's and all the probs I wonder if owners can expect that kind of mileage out of theirs.

My '03 just hit 75k...and so far she still purrs like a kitten. I think the engine is just finally getting broken in! I love my Max and the org, learning a ton from this site.

I'm just wondering if the '04-05's will have the same luck. I'm thinking about buying a used '04 but I'm reading lots of negative stuff about them.

Also a newbie here, i registered like a week ago, i have been taking the past couple days to read all the stickies, i have learned a lot from them. I own a 4th gen, and hope to do some modding soon. Don't worry i won't be asking about y pipes or how to take out headlights or door panels. Its not that hard to figure out stuff like that. Everyone seems pretty nice on here and this looks like a useful site.
