B&M advertise their Super-cooler as a oil temp by-pass design, which will internally by-pass the cooler when ATF cold. For those with this cooler is this internal by-pass mechanism an obvious design you can see?

Now Hayden doesn't advertise their coolers as a internal oil by-pass design, but it's the same plate and fin design as the B&M.

Personally I prefer the plate/fin type coolers over the tube/fin. They are more expensive but offers more cooling area with less space.
