New mod for maximas??

What do you guys think of this mod for my Maximus

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...category=33721

It's the Feet backup sensor. I think the sensors wouldn't look bad on the enormous rear bumper of our cars, and the display unit would look good on the spacious top of the dash. I just emailed the guy to see what are the display unit's colors, because my maxs interior is Frost, so it may be difficult to find something that looks alike...

it is cool, but i have seen kits with 5 sensors selling for like 80 or not more than 100, with only two sensors you would have to put one in every end of the bumber...what about if there is something in the middle ?? i would do it but i would get one with more than just two sensors... just my opinion...

a friend of mine has it. 5 sensors and the display he put it by the glass holder just above the rear view mirror...it kinda makes it easier to get use to it...you are looking at the rearviw mirror as you backup so when it beeps ( his does) you dont have to snap to look at the display ...

red, yellow and green...red being in the center and green on both sides. as it gets closer to the center the closer you are to the victim !! lol

that be good if the max was a few feet longer and sat a few feet higher up. But, if you cant judge how far to back up in a maxima then theres something wrong!

Its a great idea, but I wouldn't order anything from Hong Kong on Ebay. I had problems before ordering from overseas. Later Warren

That would probably be cool to have. Only probably I'd have is putting holes into the bumper for the sensors!

I always thought backup sensors were for soccer moms driving Chevy Suburbans or Ford Excursions. Honestly, our Maximas are pretty easy to park.

stay away from ebay mods IMO...this isnt really that much of a "mod" but an ebay car electronic piece, which also equals stay away...The wiring looks as bad as the wiring of a ghetto ebay gauge set I used to have on my Sentra before I sold it. Wires were EVERYWHERE, and the piece itself looked tacky...Look how much work installing this thing looks like. First you have to drill the **** out of your rear bumper cover, then run the wires inside the car, hiding them, where they will somehow connect to that big bulky *** transformer that you probably have to put IN the dash below the clock housing... this "mod" seems way too time consuming and rather stupid to be bothered with.I would only conciter this mod if I had a huge truck I couldn't see **** out of, or if I had a Ford Ranger with a million blind spots. so many wires, so many wires.

plus: i like my clock.

Yeah, thats seems cool because sometimes the mirrors can be misleading. Especially those who have bumped others while parking (and you know who you are)
