well, i went with Billy (aka BL97SC) to the SE-R dyno day over at R&D dyno in gardena on saturday to FINALLY test his car.

he pulled average 248hp, 232ft/lb, but had slight detonation on the first run.

Mike Kojima was there (of SCC and SE-R,CA fame) told us that it was possible that the car needed colder plugs, so hopefully billy will pick up some NGK platinum stage 7 cold plugs..

there was a turbo upgrade eclipse running 15psi boost with a huge intercooler and all tricked out, but only put down 240hp. weak if you ask me. but he wasnt boosting full (full? think 25+psi)

well. interesting day, hopefully i'll be able to dyno soon myself, once i get my car tuned to my likings.

billy's running on bricks: aka 17in TSW VX-1s, but also a 3.48 pulley, and VB mod, which works and looks TRICK on the dyno!!!!

Does Bill have a stock exaust? If he does those #'s are pretty impressive for a Auto{The VB may help that though?}

I am going to try to get a Dyno on my car maybe next week.

I know that a supercharged 5spd. can put up impressive numbers. However, how well can an auto do? What's the max hp/tq a supercharged auto Maxima can put up on a dyno? I assume that you can pull better numbers if you have a smaller pulley. Does he have one?

The Maximas come with NGK 5's, you need to put 6's in there..not 7s.
