hmmm...i wonder how many maxes there are in toronto....and w/o a description...it may be a lil tuff to figure out

 

T.O. two weekends ago at the Matchbox 20 concert..Air Canada Centre,and Pape- Danforth area. I think we need some sort of Toronto area Maxima club to get some of those group deals from retailers up here. Exchange rates plus customs plus shipping is a killer on some items shipped from the U.S.

I'd say on average, Maxima owners that I see driving around these parts are all older folks. Havent seen a single one with any mods or aftermarket stuff on them.

I'm from Toronto as well & would luv 2 get 2gether 2 shoot the sh*t & jus' cruize around in our Max's ... I agree that most owners I've seen have been older men or moms ... a buddy made fun of me 4 buying "his mom's car" ... until he saw the Y2K Max commercial in the dessert ... LUV that commercial ... wanna DRIVE like that ... lol ... n e ways .. I'm going 2 do a whole bunch of mods this month & I'm getting some pricing done @ several places ... Alta Nissan, Absolute & Engineered Sport ... do u guys have n e thoughts on these places?

I might also get the stuff shipped 2 my buddy in the US & then have them installed there ... might be cheaper ... I'm working out the prices ...

I'm in Toronto too...in Scarborough. So far my Max is stock..hoping to get the Front Strut Bar for it, but don't know where I can get it from. And I don't wanna order it online either.

I'm willing to meet up with ya guys..

 

...on the mods..Just bought the car two months ago, and I'm not up to the first oil change yet...but I've already bought the Mobile 1 synthetic. Now I'm just doing a little research to see if I should wait one or two more changes before I use it. Other than that, I've Llumar'd my windows and have Stillen RSB plus front brace coming any day now. Will also be putting studded snows, (Hakkapelitta 1's) on my factory alloys, then upgrading to maybe a Konig alloy in the spring along with a decent summer tire.

I'm actually not in Toronto,rather in the Belleville area. Bought the car in Cobourg, and get into Toronto whenever I feel like a day rip....errrrr.... trip.

 

I live in Richmond Hill ... and I'm currently driving a 2001 Maxima SE "20th Anniversary Edition" hehe ... so far the ONLY Icelandic Pearl White One! HEHEHE :P

Bro, I'm in for this saturday afternoon sometime! Wherever and whenever. Everyone, we should hook up soon because as we all know about our daylight, or lack of it, the weeknights are becoming scarce for hookin up. FINALLY!!! I've set up a time & place for us to meet at.

I got a great suggestion from Five to hold the meet @ Alta Nissan ... now I know some of you guys don't have a lot of good things to say about their prices & service ... some justified ... others ... well ... =)

Whatever ... I spoke to Hunter Watt. If you guys are interested he's the guy to talk to about buying aftermarket stuff. He's going to have a price list (don't know if it's going to be verbal or on paper) prepared for us this Saturday. He's also trying to get the Stillen SuperCharged Y2K Maxima SE that he made up for a customer.

Try & have a list (mental or otherwise) of questions you wanna ask Hunter as well as amongst ourselves. It'll save some time so we can go cruising afterwards!
