Define some acronyms for a noob ;)

Ok, I figured out:
FSB : Front Strut Bar

RSB : Rear Strut Bar

HID: the nice lights available from 5th gen on

N/A : naturally aspirated = no NOS/turbo/super

MAF: mass air flow sensor

ECU: engine control unit
what do the following mean:

AE: ?

MEVI:?

feel free to add to this list.. maybe we could make it a sticky if it gets good enough.

And it's not acronym. They are abbreviations.

An acronym would be something like this:

NISSAN= Nasty Import Sucks Savings Away to Nippon

Thanks 2 MaXiMuS 4

I don't find anything wrong with this thread...how are you suppossed to find out what some of these acronyms stand for unless you ask? Especially if you're not mechanically knowledgeable (like me). I think it would be a good idea to have a sticky with the meanings of all the acronyms...or add it to the FAQ's. If you think this is a dumb thread then there's no point posting in it.

was in the supercharged forums earlier...what does FI stand for?

also...noob question: what does OG stand for?

BTW, that FAQ is insufficient, I think a complete list of acronyms for new members is a great idea
