low end loss? (no codes and new KS recently)

what could it be - as i let the clutch and and proceed to floor it i feel hesitation, like im starting in 2nd instead of first. I know the VQ can do better off the line than that. also when i went to check the codes, i turned the screw driver all the way clockwise, but when i went back to the starting position it clicked past the originial starting location (i moved it very slowly) and its never done that before. is this bad? New KS was installed a few weeks ago by the way. any help? thanks guys.

what do you mean by the correct way? yea i got it new from pinnacle Nissan i believe. Its really freakin hot and humid here in NC (like 107 heat index) i know that doesnt help. I replaced the sensor myself and had no trouble for the past few weeks.

It could be partially working, but being brand new it should go for many years, and 10's of thousands of miles.

the stock snorkel w/ a modified "cold air" pipe that connects to it and goes down by the wheel

Lets rule out the intake then...

If the screw on the ECU isn't in the centered or normal position, I believe the ECU wount work correctly. See if you can determin where the neutral position is. You can try moving the screw in 1/4 or 1/8 turns then go for a drive to see if and when the car seems to run normal again.

well i can feel where its supposed to stop bc theres a little resistance. but it just doesnt have a real catching point like it use to when i checked codes in the past. not sure why the change all of a sudden?
