help: curb damage

Oh man, this dude or dudette driving this mercedes SUV cut into my lane (some idiots who can't drive tend to steer into outer lane or inner lane while cornering)
so i dodged and hit the curb
my front passenger wheel is damaged
well, it's like regular damage and the rim is not bent
is it going to affect my car? like the internal structure?
well, the suspension obviously, what about the axial, etc?

I'd say at least get an alignment. Is it pulling at all, making noise? when you get it aligned, ask them to look for any damage.
