Maxima.org Table on Stillen Maxima Day . . .

I just spoke to Adam Hume at Stillen. I suggested he let us set up a small table or put up some kind of a sign so that Maxima.org members can meet up on Maxima Day, June 9th. He said he'd run the idea by his boss, but he didn't think it would be a problem.
What I didn't tell Adam, of course, is that there's strength in numbers. If we consolidate our purchasing power and come up with on-the-spot group deals, we may be able to get Stillen to give us some really sharp pricing. One thing's for sure. We've got nothing to lose.
Start putting your wish list together and I'll keep you posted.

That would be cool. But how do .org members act towards eachother when they meet up.I have never been to a meet.Is the scene cool or is everyone pretty much stuck up thinking they are better than everyone else.My Max has mostly engine mods it is sitting stock still.Suspension,Rims...Just curious.

Unless Hamilton is blowing smoke up my skirt, we should get a 10% discount off of Stillen's "lowest authorized pricing" for Stillen branded products on Maxima Day. Stillen's lowest authorized pricing is slightly higher than dealer pricing (they have to protect their dealers, of course), but it's less than dealer pricing when the 10% discount is applied. Any additional discount is gravy.
For example, Stillen's lowest authorized price for the STS is $234.00. Phuong sells the STS for $224.00. Hamilton said the STS would go for around $210.00 on Maxima Day. If you got another $5.00 bucks off of that, you'd be down to $205.00. I doubt you'll find better pricing than that.

Adam Hume didn't have an answer today on letting us set up a Maxima.org Table on Maxima Day. He suggested I give him a call tomorrow.
I'll keep you posted.

The Maxima.org table has been approved . . .
I spoke with Stillen's Sales Manager on Friday. He told me that the Maxima.org table has been approved. I'll call him back this week to discuss the details and I'll keep you posted.

I think you may have been in the group who made it through the red light and did not require maxima skillz to catch up (and then pass the other group because we could not slow down in time)
