Manual transmission flush

I have a 5sp Maxima, and the dealer recommends a transmission flush at 75K miles. Is that necessary for a manual tranny?

Flush? No. Drain/fill? Yes-->

Just drain and fill. Try to use synthetic manual tranny fluid. Expecially now that winter is coming. When I switched to Amsoil, the cold weather shifting was great.

Every 40,000 miles..>

is a good point of reference. So the dealer is close.
