Question about trailers...

Has anyone drove a 4th gen with a trailer and a u-haul or something like that across a large part of the country? I'm worried about tearing up my rear tires... is there anything else i need to worry about?

if you have an auto tranny, you should look into getting a transmission cooler installed.

If you not ganna drive like you are street racing across the country with that trailer of yours, you’ll be totally fine.

You should be alright, I'd like to belive not as many moving parts less heat, you should be fine with yuour 5 speed. Maybe if your pretty close to needing to change your trans fluid, go ahead and change it so it will have fresh fluids.

You should be fine then. Our cars were meant to tow but just nothing over 1000lbs so as long as you dont go over that mark, should be all fine, just becareful braking will be much harder.

I take it easy on the brakes as is, so I'll probably add a 100 ft to high speed braking. Thanks for the help!

Good idea, I didn't even think about that.. Maybe I'll take pics doing a burnout with the trailer attached..... NOT. But the pics are a good idea. I really need to clean her up and I need to get rid of my subs and and and ... it never ends does it?
