Replacing rear rotor, Hellp ASAP

I've been having a noise coming from my driver's rear when i go over bumps, sounds like something is loose behind the wheel.

I took off the wheel and the rotor didn't seem to be sitting snug, like it wasn't completely trued. So I purchased a new rotor and was wondering when replacing the rotor in the rear, I need to pull off to bolts.

Do the the brake pads need to come out? Or does the caliper slide right out of the way?

Help asap

Thanks Andrew

on the 04, the rears replace just like the fronts.
pull the caliper off, then swap the rotor out.

you're likely going to have to pull the pads out to get the caliper back on, then once you get the torque arm bolts back up, unbolt one of the slider pins and use a C clamp and a brake pad to press the piston back in a little bit... then stick the pads back in and put it all back together.

then be sure to pump the brake pedal a few times to make sure the pads are seated against the rotor again.

FYI, be sure to check the wheel bearings on it. I see more problems with bad bearings on the 04s than I do with messed up brakes.
