I used the instructions that came with the Sprints and I also noted they way I took off the OEM ones. These should go on the same way.....do you think you put them on backwards?

They will only go on one way. The part of the springs that are all compressed{close together} have to be facing up{towards the roof of the car} when you do the install. BTW if you put them on the other way it won't work because the widths are different from one side of the springs to the other and the springs will not seat correctly.

I would think that he has a serius safety issue if he put them upside down, yikes! There is practiacaly no contact area from the springs to the shocks. I mounted one of mine upside down for a minute and then realised it when I was doing my other rear spring. I was very releaved I caught the mistake before I went out for a test drive

it doesn't do that much damage.. what it does is.. it causes the car to bottom out all the time.. the car is always hitting the ground

Well when I put mine on upside down it looked like the spring was going to fall off the strut.

Just get a flash light and go crowl under your car and you can see the springs perfectly from there, theres no need to jack the car up either.
