To help the entire US, everyone must get the following modifications done:

Y-pipe
Intake
Hi-flow CAT

This will improve MPG's in our cars, thus insuring lower gas prices.

If you can keep your foot out of the loud pedal!

In the long run, yeah.... a VERY long run

I could definately use a Ypipe, Intake or high flow cat if not for performance but just for the better gas milage, getting the 13 mpg I do now

How much do each of these cost and what are the difficulty levels on each installation?

not serious are you?

I'm getting on avg over 28 highway, and avg 24.8 over the life of the car, and the motor has 46k and never been serviced.

If anything the mods you speak of lower the efficiency of the car.

Better flow in and out of the engine will result in an increase in efficiency. You would still have to keep the RPM's low to maximize MPG's.
