I think every state is 7 max - TN and MD are, and I believe NY is as well.

IL is also 7 Max according to Rules of the Road...I've seen cars with 2 and 8 so I'm confused..

Yeah its 7 max in most places. I like ICULUKIN, BESTMAX, 1HOTMAX, NV2DMAX, STPH8TN.

I want my plates to say MAXIPAD, I'm thinking about it...if I still have this car by next summer and still running strong I will see if MAXIPAD is available

None of those choices really would get me to pay a bunch of extra money for them.
