If you ganna use the e-brake on dry pavement you'll get flat spots on your rear tires. All the other stuff should not do any damage to you car. If it’s your first time (I assume it is) go out in a rainy weather – less tire wear.

BTW: post the video

This guy was doing something really crazy. It also looks like he is not a very skilled drifter.

On the other hand, everything has a certain degree of risk. I'm ganna try to find this video of Corvette oversteering while autocrossing and hitting a group of spectators. So far I can't find it though.

I don't see any difference between what he was doing and say autocross. However, nobody makes such comments in autocross forum.

BTW: a very popular among the orgers drag racing puts much more strain on the vehicle.

drag racing puts much more strain on the vehicle.
Engine & drivetrain, more drivetrain than engine, but still not the vehicle as a whole.

I think the repairs of the engine and drivetrain are more expansive though.

what ever, who would even care about their vehicles if it did not cost anything. The bottom-line is that so many people abuse their cars in drag races and everyone says that there's nothing wrong with it, and when someone who is 19 tries something that is no way near as harmful as drag racing everyone starts screaming that he is abusing his car and that he has to grow up. Doesn’t it seem somewhat unfair?
That's the only reason why I even started posting in this thread.

The whole car not the whole car, what you are saying doesn't make any sense. It's the whole car either way. Doesn’t matter whether the force is sideways or forward. Arguing with you was not the purpose of the previous posts. What's wrong, trying to continue the pissing contest, well I'm out of it, I got more important things to do.

Doing stunts and all is pretty fun. It's not great for your car, can mess with the alignment a little, but it won't ruin it by any means. I've done a few ebrake 180s at opportune times, awesome when you pull it off.

You're going to mess up the drivetrain, IMO.

ah come on everyone. Locking up the rear wheels does more damage to the tires then anything else (remember folks with these FWD cars there are not many moving parts back there) If the car is a stick then im assuming it was prob reving very high and maybe burned the clutch. I wouldn't make a habit of it, but nice work
