Well, the Blemhco (spl?) kit is also $55 shipped. I wonder which one is higher quality? Or all copper wires essentially the same?

50 shipped for some wire? I'll give ya 35-40 shipped btw these wires look weird..Most grounding kits all meet up at one "base" which then hooks up to the battery..Why are these seperate?

i can only speak for the BlehmCo one, which i am very pleased with, but it doesnt have a central base either, all the wires just ground to the same point. the only ones ive seen with that central base were the "Nismo" ones on ebay.

the "central base" is only for looks (shocker, it is Nismo).....as are storebought grounding kits

you can make your own for half the price...they work just as well, and you can ground more points. (mine has 8 grounding points)

is yours soldered?

I made my own, but the only one of similiar quality I've ever seen was BlehmCo's

not to mention there was pretty much zero talk of grounding kits until he produced them (with the exception of mtrai, but I think he did that as more of a local thing)

yes, they are soldered and shrink-wrapped (all home-depot parts)....they don't look all pretty and colorful (just flat white), but work the same.

if you're doing it for looks, get the Blehm or the CM/CE grounding kits (because they look good).....if you're doing it for *performance* home-made ones work just as good...

How could you shrink-wrap it? Don't you need some special equipment for that?

It costs $5 less?

Mind you, that is $5 I wouldn't mind spending on someone as nice as Matt Blehm who has contributed so much to the community just from his garage and his own good will...

So yeah, I second the comparison question.

I think the most important is not the width of the wires (4 or 6) but how many grounding points the kit has and where they are located.

Roger, as I mentioned on the other org, the thing is, I broke my exhaust because of a very bad wheel-hop I got while launching on a bumpy road. I haven't checked what exactly is wrong, but I'm forced to put away all the planned mods and worry about getting my car fixed.
My apologies, but now I don't even know how much I'll have to spend on it.

What benefit does 4 gauge have over 8 gauge? I mean wires going to most of the grounding points aren't even 8 gauge.

I know Matt Blehm is an Electrical Engineer, while it may not be the most advanced product, that and the fact he hand makes everything counts for something in my book

I'm just curious that's all. You are introducing a product which another company has been making for over a year now, I'd really like to know what makes yours better and importantly, why?
