I am somewhat unknowledged concerning pullies. I've decided that I want to lighten the load on my crankshaft and buy a crank pulley. Now, stock size or underdrive is the question. I've heard from several people that underdrive pullies can mess thing up like your ac. I'm going to assume that this is not true otherwise why would they sell them? My question is, what is the advantage of an underdrive pulley if any? I am also assuming that stock size you can keep your current belt while you will need a new, smaller one with an underdriven pulley.

Anybody have any advice with pullies?
