Tho it might.. seems theyve been prone to get stuck occasionally.

I toyed with the idea of a HKS.. it voids Vortechs warranty tho. (not like i have one or anything, but since i already have a blitz ...............)

BTW, i didn't vote. Probably safest to go with a Blitz tho. (well, i guess you could use that lil rubber pipe that comes with the SC..)

Just wondering where that came from? I didn't see that in the Vortech warranty document...

hmm...first he makes his little "Waaaaaaaaahhhhh Psshhhhhh" noises, then asks about intercoolers, and now bov's.

Cheston, got something you'd like to share with us?

Cheston, if you can put together a group deal on BOV's, I'd be interested.

AznWontonboy, a Blow-Off Valve (BOV) is used with to vent extra air pressure to keep forced induction (via a SC or Turbo, etc.) from blowing the engine.

Well not really to keep from blowing the engine but the main purpose of the BOV is to release air pressure from piping to the intake manifold like you mentioned. It helps prevent the air from going back through the turbo or supercharger after you release the throttle. So basically it saves the life of the turbo or supercharger fans.
