I want to give my car a more bassy exhuast sound, w/o the EXTREME VROOM sound.

I'm not looking for a huge performance gain, just a more bassy sound, and 'looks'

what should i do, just switch out the muffler?

 

I swapped out my stock muffler with TomI30 awhile back (don't know if you remember the thread) and now I've got the Magnaflow dual tip exhaust. If all you want is looks and the bass sound, that should do it. Personally, it's a bit loud when I have people in the car but when I'm alone, it's a lotta fun. Even with all that I think I'm going to swap it back with another Max owner so that he can enjoy and I can be on the safe side with my wife. Good luck.

 

I would go with Greedy... My previous Max('97) has one with y-pipe and sounds nice... but dunno how to work/sound on 2k+ model.

 

i dont think there is a greddy for 5th gen yet.

The FedEx Ground driver just dropped one off about 10 minutes ago. I'll have pictures up by this evening.

I've also just received the new Stillen touring front spoiler (along with the sides and rear valence) for the 2K Max. I'll also have pictures up towards early evening.
