Well I havent been on here for along time and so much has happened
since then. I was forced to sale my Max do to an accident I had gotten
into where I totaled my moms new 05 Frontier . I sold it to my pops so
at least its still in the family and still close to me. I miss it and its only been
2 weeks and I see the damn thing almost everyday. Well whats done is done
and I just must exept it but it hurts to let go of my pride and joy. Ive gotten
a 99 Ford Expedition to avoid not tryin to modify it cause its an SUV. Hope
it works. Anyway thought Id let my maxima family know Im officialy out the
maxima tuner scene (for now) but I wont leave the org. Thanks for everyone
who dropped knowledge and all the freinds I made on here. Flave and Dubbya
my pops said he'll let me barrow the max on the weekends, I think one day
we should meet up for some wings and finally do that lil photo shoot.

Sad to hear, atleast you'll still get to drive it on weekends, but thats like re-opening a wound alittle every now and then. Plus you'll have to show him how to adjust the Ksports. . . just sad.

Naw man I took the most expensive stuff off and there up for sale right now.
The only thing he asked for was the Stillen kit and the C.F. Hood, took the
Ksports off and put back the Tein Stechs. Im selling my Volks, Ksports, brand
new K&N true C.A.I., and brand new SPW F.S.T.B.

True, but just knowing its not mine really hurts. Plus the car just dont look the same
with out the Ksports & Volks. It still looks good but not the signiture look I gave it.

Its actually kinda funny cause he used to give me shyt about how he hated how I modded my
car, but for the 2 weekends he's had it Ive seen him wash it, polish it all up. I can tell he
loves that car. The only thing he did say was that it was to low with the Ksports but He's
happy with the Stechs. He's not to good at dodging potholes or bumps so he hated the
Ksports. Im glad I got em back so I could sell em.

Nope, I had to make some kinda money off all those parts. I took the Ksports and put back
on the Stechs and he's happy with that setup. I was kinda hopin for him to say put back on
the stock springs so I could sell the Stechs but He said he wanted dropped just not that low.
I didnt tell him the Ksports are ride height adjustable so I could get em back.

Yup Im sure he will just as much as I did. My max was well known here in south Austin, I
cant wait to start getting all those phone calls from my local tuner buddys telling me they
just saw a 50 yr old man ******* the crap outa my car. LOL he'll do it to. He use to tune
oldschool datsuns like 200sx turbos or 510's so he use to love racing.

Yeah it makes me feel a lil better but its not mine no more so it not the same. Im now rollin
a 99 Expedition Eddie Baure Edition, in the hopes I wont start tuning again. Who know's
maybe Im gonne make it a slabbed out hehe.

I don't get the situation, you sold your max to your Dad, and bought an expedition? How exactly did you make any money to pay for the accident you were involved in other than the mods off the max?

The Expedition I got has 145000 miles on it and only cost me 10,000$
and on the Maxima I still owed 10,500$ and it only has 63,000 miles on it.
So the Max is actually worth a lil bit more than the Expo and is litarly half
as used. The Expo is in real good condition but its definatly nothing compared
to a Nissan with 63k miles compared to 145k on the Expo. As far as how I
made money of this, well My dad gave me 1,000 down + Last months car
payment and Im selling my volks, ksports, c.a.i., and fstb. So yeah its a lil
confusing but I already made 1,300$ and if everything goes right I should
make another 2,300$. It still hurts but its a must do situation.

I actually thought of getting another older 4th gen max and putting all my
parts on there but I figured if I get into another Max I'll just keep on modding
and never get nothing taken care of. Its still a decision I regret but somthing
I had to do.

Ok...let me get this straight. You PAID $10,000 for a car with 145,000 miles and gave up a car with 63,000 miles for a difference of $500 in total price and of course for $1300 with the potential to be $3600?

First....In my opinion, you got RIPPED for the expedition...$10,000???? Secondly you trade your car for $3600 (potential)....nuts in my opinion....but to each his own.

Uhhh Okay, I guess. Sorry to dissapoint you but again your not in my situation.
Bottem line is I sold my max and I didnt want to but I had to. Dont really have
to explain myself to anyone, just not trying to be rude.

Disappoint me?....nah man...but you can't honestly say that your max was costing you so much that you had to sell it for a car/truck that cost about the same and is going to be worse on gas. And you are correct you don't have to explain to anyone, but if you post, do you not expect folks to ask questions? No worries man...enjoy paying more for gas...

oh yeah, whatever your situation, you got crazy pwn3d on the Ford. my sister just paid $5000 for late 90's one with 60k. i hope you checked kelly BB and carfax. would think you atleast learned that here. not to mention gas

i guess your "situation" is losing the Max as your punishment since somehow the parents think you're a racercar driver after the accident.

I also save in the sence that I wont be spending so much money on going
out to run and modifieing but damn you sure right about the gas... Thats
my only complaint besides the fact that I dont have my max anymore... GAS
mpg SUCKS and it costs 60$ to fill up.

Actually my dad didnt want the Ksports on the car so I won on that one.. He
said it was to low and he probobly wouldnt wanna mess with them anyhow.
As far as punishment, naw, not really my parents have no say on anything I
own cause I pay my own rent and bills.. Its a desicion I made after totaling my moms 30k$
Truck.. I was feeling guilty plus the accident was put blamed me and we still dont
know if the other persons gonna settle. So like I said it somhing I had to do.. Im
sure yall would agree that no one would wanna let go of somthing theyve invested
so much money and time to for any lil reason unless it was completely needed, whats worst
is that I was useing the truck cause my car was in the
shop getting new mods put on.. Its something I wish never happened.
