1. if i get a 40mm offset how will the tires be compared to tock. i mean will they stick out more past the fender or be tucked in more.
2. how will i know if i need hubcentric rings...and if i do, where can i buy them.
3. i'm getting 17 x 7 rims, what tir sizes can i use and not have the odometer off. can i use 225-45 or 225-50?

thanks!

1) 40mm offset will "tuck" it in more than 35 mm.
2) any respectable rim seller, ie tirerack, will sell you hub rings. And 99% of after market rims will require hub rings.
3) DON'T get 7" rims. I repeat, DO NOT get 7" rims. At the very least get some 7.5". 7" is already just right for 215 width. Hell, my CRX runs 16X7... and with 205/40-16, they are just about right.

yeah i know...

i really wanted 17 x 8 rims but i got such a good deal on these 17 x 7s that i just had to get them. i figure if i'm already running 215 on my 6.5 inch stock rims then it should be alright to put 225 on 7 inch wide rims.

anyways, appreciate your answers Shing.
