Hands down, Madico black tint for onyx Maximas. May be a little hard to find shops that use it though.

I been using SolarGard since 1980. There HP series film is one of the best. That being said, There's a few good brands to choose from. What you really need to know is the quality of the workmanship and if they give a "lifetime" warranty. Two things that I would look for is, how clean the shop is and what the finished job on a customers vehicle looks like. It's very hard to do a perfect job, but it should be close to it!
Remember..You usually get what you pay for!!!

I use only Llumar Stealth Tint. This stuff is the best! Its a mix between a black and reflective tint to give dark look without being noticed as having tint. Its very good for here in PA where all tint is illegal. I've used it on both my Maxima's and the Z. A few pics as examples:

35% all around

5% w/ 35% on windshield

the only other thing now is to decide whether or not i can get away with doin a 30% or a 35%
some ppl on nycmaximas are telling me that 30% is the legal limit in my state

I paid $157 for all around minus front for Sungard in 35%. You can def notice the tint because it reflects, but it is very light and night time driving is no problem.

I paid just a bit under $200 for my tint windows with 35% on the front 2 windows & 25%-30% on the rear 3 windows, and I think my brand is the SolarGuard or something with Solar in it.

PA does have inspection/emissions stickers in the lower left of the windshield. They are under the tint. Kinda a pain, but its only a once a year deal. I'll just have the windshield re-done in the spring. That is unless the man gets to me first. Also that was my house till late Dec. when it was sold. Way too big for a young guy. My fiance and I just built a much more reasonable place closer to work. I took a huge hit with capital gains taxes this year so I learned my leason about moving so quickly. Anyhow a few ORG members have been by and can vouch for me...so i'd hope no one calls BS. Enough about that...back to TINT.

Probably a little more expensive than I should have paid, but it's the going rate in Rochester at this time: $220 for 20% Llumar "High Performance" (supposedly "blacker" than regular tint, but I figured do it once, do it right) for all windows including a windshield banner.

It was a very nice house, I hope you got a good deal out of it. I wish I have grass in front of my house.

Solargard HP 32% here. Wish it were 20%, but I just did not want any hassles with the law... anywhere. It has been on the Max nearly 4 years now, and it is still as perfect ... in color and in bubbleless installation... as the day it went on. It was the BEST $180 upgrade I ever spent on my car.

There is a car shop behind a Mobil/Exxon gas station by the GWB in Fort Lee on Lemoine ave, across from Burger King. They quoted me $220 fo Llumar Stealth.

Looking for a good tint shop in the St. Louis MO area. Any suggestions? Also looking for what others in my area paid for tint. Thanks for the help!
