Car History
The car was purchased new in 1999 as a daily driver. After undergoing some mild modifications, the car went under the knife for a complete makeover in the Spring of 2000. Dodge Viper GTS blue paint was sprayed over the Stillen-enhanced body. With a custom reverse-mount hood (like a Viper), the car is currently the most modified Maxima known.
For performance modifications, the car went to the leader in Nissan performance, Stillen, who added their supercharger kit and other accessories, including a Formula one braking system from AP Racing. The car produced 221 hp to the wheels. A Veilside carbon fiber wing and Bomex side mirrors from Japan round out the car’s exterior styling.
For the interior, Trimmasters provided a one-off blue carbon fiber dash kit and Stitchcraft provided the upholstery work. A $20,000 In car electronics system comprised of extensive Audio/video component was installed as a Clarion/JBL/Infinity joint venture with the latest offerings from each company finding their way into the car. The car’s three huge JBL W12Gti woofers weigh more than 20 lbs. each with a special support system needed. The car’s five JBL amplifiers produce more than 4000 watts and required two additional batteries to support the electrical load.
Other lighting and trim accessories were provided by Toucan/Ractive/Eurolite and can be found throughout the car. The engine compartment was dressed by Hose Techniques. Motegi Ro_Ja wheels were produced just for this car and custom suspension work was done by Ractive.
A nitrous system and custom roll-cage are in the works now.
This car is used in the making of the movie The Fast and The Furious due out June 22, 2001. The car was used by the character “Vince”, played by Matt Schulze, a bad guy in the movie.
The car was used in a few action and chase sequences. The car’s performance mods were performed by Stillen in preparation for the movie. One sequence in the movie, a fight scene between “Brian” and “Vince” damaged the quarter panel and doors. The studio repaired and restored the car to perfection.
The car is slated to appear in a variety of magazines, none of which could be shot prior to delivery to Universal Pictures for its’ movie appearance. The car’s audio construction has taken the last two months and the car was completed only days before the Hollywood Premier of the movie.
The car is valued at $75,000.

I don't know what they consider "most modified" but as far as the engine goes, his ain't it. Even w/ these nutto 4-geners keeping secrets about their mods, I can say someone like Phil and Loren is much more modded engine-wise than this guy. Hell some turbo 3-geners out there should beat this guy.

i think a of those prices were exaggerated... he paid 1200 for a set of 18" tires??? you would think a guy like that would get things a lot cheaper and aso like someone said before, a lot of things free... also the name of the movie was the fast and the furious, with a 14.5 from all those mods i hope we dont see his car 8 car lengths behind in the movie lol it will make us look bad
not impressed
It looks like this guy has all these mods that slow him down, and don't do anything. I'm not impressed at all with this car. the g's the 1/4 time, anything at all. it looks like he wasted a lot of time and money on a riced out SLOW AS HELL maxima. i wouldn't even drive that car the way it is now. 14.5 is not a good 1/4 at all, at all for what he has on the car.

why do they try so hard to make us look bad... was he pulling another car in that 1/4... my friend has intake and exaust a a vortech charger on his max and hes runin 13's wtf. for real if they spent that much money on that max they got ripped off... they are trying to make us look bad..... im disapointed... although it is a honda movie and i wasnt really goin to see it in the first place. why can they make hondas run 13's (and still be drivable on the streets) but they cant make a max run 13's i think they should stick to drama movies or something cause they are way off base!!!!!

With those stats, it obvious that his car is mainly a "show car". No way it can even hang with even lightly modded competitors. That's a bad 1/4 e.t. time for a supercharged Maxima. Then again, I suppose he ran with all the stuff he got? I think Mr. Lieberman is always show first and go second. Just look at his Supra. It's a hot car, but there are a lot of Supras much faster than his. What's up with some of the stuff he have? I would think he has much better taste. Ractive exhaust? WTH?!

The Fast and the Furious Maxima
For those who haven't seen the movie yet, the Maxima has only a few short scenes. And in all of the driving scenes it keeps right up there with the other cars, ie TT RX7 etc so we all looked good. One seen he does quite a smokey burn out, bleach???? Anyway as for the main character the "good guy" drives a 10 second TT Supra, the orange one that you see in all the trailers. But enough about the movie I don't want to spoil it for everyone. It's worth going to see, there was kind of a decent plot to it not just all street racing. As for the JBL GTi's we put 3 12" in and they weight more like 36lbs each, I have 2 of them in my car, man do they hit hard, nothing like them on the market. Too bad there is no amp that can power them yet to drive the cone to full excursion, coming soon there will be
1995 GXE 1st Place NOPI Nationals 2000
Skyline conversion? Its coming......

1995 GXE 1st Place NOPI Nationals 2000

Skyline conversion? Its coming......
I remember at Showoff last yera in Pomona
He came by my car and kept insisting to one of my teammates that the only way I could get my car so low was to cut my springs, and that there were no coilovers in existence. (I have the Cattmans). I think he was just jealous cause my car looked nicer than his. I mean c'mon, 18-inch TROPHIES, on Eibachs? Can you say "4x4." Don't get me wrong, he's got a nice ride, but he was a pretty arrogant matriarch-fornicator
I wonder if he is furious because he is not fast... I don't care if it's mostly a show car... my car with only a catback is right on his tail. That is one sweet looking car that he has... I can't wait for my intake to arrive so that I can match his 1/4 and go around telling people I'm faster than that maxima you saw in the movie. Maybe my car will be worth $80K.. then I can sell it and buy an S4.
I just got back from seeing the Preview here in Seattle. I thought the movie was pretty good. I was incredibly surprised with the amount of Nissan's in the movie. They even talk about the SR20 for a brief second. The Max is nice. In that burn out scene did I see the exhaust tip coming out of the side? That's what I thought I saw. It was in a lot of scene's. Overall I'd give the movie a B.
I guess if you just want to see how much stuff you can put on a can and how much money you can throw at it that's fine, but all those performance mods just to get the car back to basically stock quickness due to all the added weight of stereo stuff I don't understand. It looks awesome, don't get me wrong, but I'd ditch everything in the trunk and keep what's under the hood and blow everyone off the road. That's why I have no aftermarket speakers, subs, or amps. Nothin in my trunk but a torque wrench.

Do I sense some jealousy here?
You should all be bowing to my presence on your little club forum here.
You people have no clue what my car is capable of.
It runs mid 14's baby!
None of you can hang with that!
Mine is supercharged, I doubt any of you can afford that.
It's also VIPER BLUE, so you KNOW it's fast!
Now don't make me come smoke you guys at Maxus.
I can hit 60mph in 7.1 seconds, BEWARE!
Later kids.

My car is beige, you know it's faster than any old blue!
Less paint straight from the factory for more chips, less weight, and MORE SPEED!
I have a SUPER-COOL window shade made of shiny plastic to keep my interior cool! NOW CAN YOU DEAL WITH THAT!?!
Like I said, it's an awesome car, but if the day ever comes that I have $75K to plunk into a car I'm getting the WHOLE Viper GTS with 450hp and destroy almost any Nissan ever made and not just the paint.
Hello,
My name is Craig Lieberman. I spent $75,000 on my maxima to barely break into the mid 14's and still not crack 100 mph.. 10% of that money I spent on performance mods and the rest of that was spent on stereo/body kit mods..
Hello,
My name is 92ZexMaximaSE
With $75,000 I could buy:
a used Viper
A used Supra TT
A Nissan Skyline
2 new Maxima's and still have pocket change
a ticket for everyone on the 3rd gen forum to see Fast and Furious.
Hell, with that amount of cash I could throw a big *** party for all of us and get the girls from G string Divas to give us bookoo lap dances..
