Are leather seat COVERS a good idea?

I found these on ebay

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/90-91...spagenameZWDVW

Are leather seat covers ugly or do they break down fast or not fit or anything? I realize too that their not real leather, but synthetic type stuff, does this make a big difference? Any good or bad experiences?

i doub that they would look very good. just like some sheets thrown over the seats and tucked in. they won't have any of the seams or curves that your seats have now. imo, go with real aftermarket leather if you want an upgrade.

You know when you get them they will be all wrinkled and look nothing like real leather, and straps and ties will probably be visable. I wouldn't get them unless your seats are trashed, or you need the back part to cover the seat for a pet, small child, etc.
