Anyone know? What is a real world safe A/F ratio on nitrous? I don't mind running a little rich, but not to a point where I'm loosing major HP.

12.6-1 to 12.5-1 is where I was at and I was getting ~82hp at the wheels out of a 100hp jet.

go here to see my dyno with a/f and hp

12.6 is really good. You are just alittle rich. I think 13.1 is perfect for the real world.

When are you going to the dyno?

The car was dynoed today. I couldn't be there, but I got a the print out. I will scan it when I get a chance. He dynoed it in second gear. With 80 shot, I'm only getting extra 41hp to the wheel. He said it's due to my auto tranny. My A/F is also on the lean side. Range from 14.2 to 13.5. I have no idea what jet sizes I'm using. My installer said they were the smallest one from the kit. I called NOS and the smallest jets for my kit are .22 for nitrous and .16 for fuel. Does that equal to 80 shot? I'll hit the track next friday. I want to be aleast in mid 14s, I might step up another 20 shot to get there. My car never really responded will to mods. I got around 7hp with UDP and Y-pipe. The catback did nothing. The intake made the most difference.

I think you'll see mid 14's.

Their is no way your auto tranney is sucking up ~45% of the 80 hp shot. Your a/f ratio does bother me, I'm no expert on dyno tuning but nitrous needs fuel to make power. Have you asked the NOS tech department about the a/f ratio and what hp level the jets are for?

The .22 nitrous and .16 fuel jets suppose to be 80hp according to NOS. Is there a way to look at the jets to tell what they are? Are there numbers stamped on them? From looking at NOS's suggest tuning chart on their website, fuel jets usually are bigger than nitrous jets. I will step up to the next fuel jet size to see what happens. Maybe like you said, I'm really starving for fuel.

NOS tech was really puzzled. As lean as I'm running, I should be making more power. I pulled the plugs last night after some runs. They looked ok.

My bottle pressure is around 950.
My WOT fuel pressure is around 52psi

NOS tech suggest I drop the bottle pressure down to 850 and see if that helps before changing the fuel jets.

Only thing I can't verify are the exact jets I'm using since I didn't install them.
