I was looking around and cannot find a pod to hold the guages for a max. I would like to have the one that runs down the left side of the window/windshield, or either one that fits under the cd player. Probably getting boost, a/f, and FP. Also what kind of guages are good and who sells them? thanks

I believe the gauge pod for the 4th gen maxima for the pillar is #20802. You may wanna check www.autometer.com for check gauges, that's what I have, or for more expensive ones you can get Apexi, or greddy, etc.

I got all my gauges at www.summitracing.com They are pretty reasonable, but it helps if you search through there stuff for a while, because some gauges are a lot cheaper than others, and do the same exact job. To mount them under the CD changer, you will have to get some black ABS and do a custom install, but it shouldn't be too hard. Good luck.

Do you only have 2 guages on your pillar? Would it be possible to put a 2 guage pod, and then a single guage pod on the same pillar so you could have 3 guages?

Yes it would be possible to do that, have a 2 gauge pillar and a single and make it 3.

I have all 3 or my gauges, Boost, EGT, and Fuel Press. under my aftermarket CD player, if you have the stock BOSE CD/tape player you will not be able to fit them there. But if you changed out your deck, you should be able to do a custom job to make them all fit there. I chose not to put them in my pillar b/c it loses the sleeper affect. And you will have all sort of 4 bangers wanting to race you, and even the big 8 guys. This way I choose who I race, and I surprise them.

And this is bad? I plan to get a supercharger too. When I do, I'll put the gauges on the pod. Strange, I don't have much stuff in my car now, but I don't get many people racing me. Maybe they think I'm slow and not worth it? Or I often drive like a nut case and they're afraid I'll hit them?

But.....

I think it only holds 43mm gauges which is too small to hold the traditional 2-1/16 Autometers.
