Anyone ever damage their radar detector from dropping it?

How durable are the insides of these things? My stupid suction cups gave out on my Passport X50 and it fell and landed on the floor on the drivers side. Seems to be ok though. I hate to see something happen to my baby.

i think a fall from your windshield onto the carpeted floor of your car won't do much damage at all...

i have the same radar, dropped like 5-6 times already, but it still works good. didnt get scratched or anything.

i've dropped my 8500 a bunch of times and it still works fine...

Dropped mine a few times but never had any problems because of it.
