Received this from Brian today.... Cattman! Regarding 2K+ Maxima upgrades

"there are the new front and rear all-fabricated engine mounts for 5-speeds by Place Racing, guaranteed for life and only $275/pair, they make a surprising overall difference in the behavior of the car as well as killing wheel hop off the line. Quaife differential's coming up soon for the 5-speed too, first week of September, for $1445 regular price or $1250 if you get in on the advance purchase deal."

"I'd have to recommend the new coilover suspension we'll have out in a couple of weeks for a car you're spending so much money and effort on. Total and absolute versatility, every possible adjustment, ability to drop it onto the tires for show or set it up just right for street or
racing. Smooth confidence and the most grins per dollar, at $1800, complete with everything needed, including externally adjustable KYB AGX struts and state-of-the-art overtower camber plates in the front and overtower mounts in the rear."

Personal Display

These particular ones are the latest in Personal Display Technology.

http://www.cwonline.com/store/view_p...p?Product=1125

.org pricing available as well....PM me if you are intersted in finding out more.

The glasses showen here are the absolute latest with extremely clear optics and very high resolution and functionality. We have other lower cost glasses available from Sony, Olympus etc.. but do not recommend them especially for this application.

PS There is a girl in the sig too!

Cool so these motor mounts are available now? If so I'm interested especially if it kills the wheel hop. One more question what does the Quaiffe diff do?

A Limited-slip differential senses when one wheel is losing traction and automatically redirects torque to the wheel with traction. If you have big power adders (SC or NOS), it will help you get off the line tremendously.

It will also help alot in cornering. Ever seen a front wheel drive spin the inside wheel like mad on a hard corner? Well, you won't be doing that any more with a Quaife differential

you don't want the motor mounts

if you drive the car daily. I promise. I had a set of Energy Suspension urethanes in my old skiznivic and though they did help wheel hop (a little bit) they made the car feel like a freaking lawnmower. Everything inside rattled, the vibration through the steering wheel was so strong that if I stayed at one RPM frequency too long my hands would go numb and it was LOUD. It really made it feel like a race car (well I had a metal interior and rollcage that helped too) but they sucked for daily driving. I wouldn't do it again on anything that I was going to haul a client or girlfriend around in, that's for sure!
Just my 2 cents.
