power winder is acting weird
since january 2005, my rear passenger window decided to stop working out of no where.
everytime i push the switch to lower the window, (both driver and passenger switch) there is like a clicking sound but no movement of any sort of the window.
a few weeks later, i decided to see if it'll work and it did. it rolled down, and rolled right back up. then it didnt do it again the next day.
i was convinced the motor or regulator went bad.
but just yesterday it worked fine. i played with it for like 5 mins...up and down....up and down.
but now today it isnt working!
any ideas on what it could be?
i doubt its either the motor or regulator. i could be wrong but anyone with any insights please pass em on to me. its driving me crazy already!!!

one time my rear passenger window stopped working & i got a new switch for that side & it worked.
then my passenger side window would roll down but wouldnt go back up. I switched the driver side main switchboard & that fixed that.
try that.

something like that happened with my old max. the power window would work one day and then randomly it would stop working. one day i heard a clunking sound and then grinding and that's when i knew it died for good. it was the regulator.

I switched out my driver side switch board (relay) panel on my first 92 Max and that resolved the problem on the passenger side front window. Before you change the motor go with the relay/switch they are easier to swap than the motors.

i have the EXACT same problem, mine is worest...its stuck in the down position..lol im gonna try to plug the other rear passenger switch and see what happens. i doubt that is the problem, im almost convinced that it is the motor/regulator. let me know if you find anything for a solution
