where to buy "test pipe"

i think the title says it pretty well, but im intrested in a test pipe for my 00. i might as well put one on when i get my headers installed(cause i love just having them sitting around) just wondering what the options were. i really dont want a cheap one. i have to get my emissions tested quite often so swapping my cat back in would be a regular thing(as much fun as that is) so id like soemthing that wont fall apart. i dont mind paying more for a good one. the only one i know of tho is the ce one. any input would be awesome.

just curious. does getting a slighly more expensive one i.e. not just one off of ebay actually have any bearing on passing emissions, or will any "test pipe" fail emissions most likely. i guess it depends on what state your in but if anyone has any input on that. cuz otherwise I don't think the cheaper ones are necessarily less quality.. their just a metal tube.

with a test pipe theres no way ull pass emisions, with headers ill have no cats at all, i only have the main one right now due to my y-pipe.

thats the main reason i would prefer a good one, its the taking it on and off alot that, imo is where a good one would be better. ie a cheaper one would rust more and make the bolts maybe make it so the bolts would ahve to be cut each time, where as a better one may not rust as much. if that makes any sence whatsoever.

why are you thinking about getting one? it doesnt give any power but just a loud noise from the exhaust. just keep your cat and dont deal with the hassle..

Good question. Which non-stock cat would pass emissions? No test pipes will... for sure!

reason being. i have a highflow and its going out, which from my understanding can cause performance issues. or worse start breaking apart. i have a stock cat alying around. but i figure a test pipe would flow better.

with hotshot headers and a full frankencar catback, i fugure my cat would eb my weakest/least flowing part.
