Since I have been unable to find a shop that will put my Stillen Y pipe on my car, I'm going to put it on w/my two friends. Anything we should take into consideration before we start? just speak from experience people.

Just be sure to soak down those bolts with WD-40, so that they come off, that will probably be the hardest part which is to take the bolts off.

I haven't installed one yet, but...

lots of people who have said liquid wrench is much better than WD40. You might wanna have both on hand when yer ready.

Are there any parts that should be replaced that might not come with the pipe (gaskets or something?)

I thought we already went through this, A-Ron Max. If you want to install the Y-pipe yourself, that's fine. But if you want to have it installed professionally, go to the installer Stillen uses -- Alt-Z in Huntington Beach. I already sent you their address and phone number. And as I'm sure you're aware, Huntington Beach isn't that far a drive from San Diego.
