I got my Hawk HPS pads from TireRack.com. They seem to have them for most cars...

I personally dont reccomend Hawk HP pads. I got them for my car and all they do is make noise. But to each his own.

Did you bed your pads in? I have Q45 HPS pads in the front, and maxima pads in the rear. And mine don't even make a squeal.

For a great performing pad thats quiet and doesn't dust to badly. Hawk is the way to go. I had Axxis Metal Masters in my automatic and they squeal a ton.

well, if you have Hawk HP (or HP+), then you bought a pad that is primarily for track use. It's squeaking because it wants to be warmed up! The correct pad to buy for regular driving would be the Hawk HPS

I had Hawk HPS pads on my 4th Gen, no noise and great feel. I just ordered a set for my 5th Gen from tirerack, but it looks like Redline Max is about the same price.

I got ****'d around by a couple different websites that were cheaper. I'd get the order confirmation but no updates or shipping confirmation. When I'd call or email they said they are backordered (like 1-3 weeks-?!)... I eventually broke down and ordered my HPS's online from tirerack.com. Got the rears the next fuking day (no special shipping request), and the fronts the day after that! The excellent customer service was definitely worth a few extra $s! I have ordered two sets of tires and all my brake equipment from tirerack.com. They are top of the food chain.

I bought HP+ from TireRack.com. I don't think they carry them anymore. In fact, I'm not sure Hawk makes HP+ anymore. I went to Porterfield in person, and they had HP+ in stock (I think about 4 sets). They were $10 more than the R4-S. However, if you're looking for regular HPS pads, everybody carries those, they're really popular.

Anyways, whether you order from tirerack, porterfield, redline, or whoever, remember to ask for the maxima.org discount. I've even went to my local Kragen and asked for the .org discount and got a few % knocked off. Worth a try.

Can't go wrong with the HPS. Have them on my Maxima and wifey's Altima, they work great - especially once a little warm.

Check the group deals, I got them for both cars from Carabuser (Geneva Tuning). Great price and service is excellent.
