installing side skirt

I was wondering what kind of double sided tape some of you may use to install side skirts that do not cross into the door jambs (i.e. stillen). My double sided tape loses adhesiveness after it rains. I am getting the scotch stuff at walmart which is permanent but it is meant for indoors. It is really strong when dry but when it is wet, PEACE OUT.

Is the grey 3M tape with the red backing any good? Any tips?

okay, so what i found was to use the 3m adhesive promoter on the parts where the tape will stick and then use the 3m tape. Anyone with experience on how well this works?

the one u got is for indoor use for stuff like pictures to hang from walls. what you need is the exterior mounting tape:

look for the one that has RED plastic wrap and the tape itself is kind of THICK and its gray

Thats the stuff to go with. You may need to sand the inside of the lip kit for it to bond well.

3m or scoth grey stuff. make sure it's clean (alcohol or even some lacquer thinner if you have) if you can get a can of adhesion promoter spray that on first, but otherwise i would still use a screw on each side(one on the 1/4 one on the fender), just to be on the safe side.
