BBA Remanufacturing for Parts??

Is anybody familiar w/ BBA Remanufacturing? As the name says, they remanufacture auto parts. Lifetime warranty too. Wondering if anybody has any experience w/ their stuff. Lifetime warranty doesn't really solve the problem if the parts are crap and you have to keep sending them back. Thanks.

I'd stay away from any "remanufactured" parts. Typically, they don't last as long as new OEM parts do.

In this case, there's not much of a choice regarding remans, seeing as how the company that manufactures them in the first place takes the core from the service tech, remanufactures it themselves, and resells the part, so if I bought from the dealer odds are great that it'd be remanufactured anyway.

Werd... like, good luck finding oem alternators and starters. Common items, but most likely reman.
There's also an economic reason they are lifetime warranty. If the parts were poor quality, the company would lose tons of money from broken parts, right? I'm sure they're confident in their parts that they give it a longer warranty. It's like Hyundai and their 100,000 mile drivetrain warranty. I haven't heard any recalls or major TSB for those yet, since they started the campaign in 1999.

Precisely. I figure if someone's going to provide a lifetime warranty, that it's gotta be quality. LIke you said, to keep swapping out a part would eat at profit margins.
