i need to get a body kit for a 99 Max. the cheapest i've quoted is $728 so far, but i know i have seen them in the $600 range.

Be patient and search through the forums. I got a new one for less than $500, but that was EXTREMELY low.

if it was new, tell me where to get it. i'm actually starting to think that the kit isn't worth it. after paint and installation, i'm looking at a grand: i could probably get complete intake and exhaust system for that amount.

Someone on the forum had a new one that hadn't been installed on a car that got totalled, so he posted a post offering numerous things for sale. The body kit was offered at $475 and came with a SMX grille. I covered shipping and came in at $500. Be on the lookout and check the For sale forum often.
