Autozone car ramps

Last time in AZ I noticed car ramps they're selling. Has anyone used these? They seem like carbon fiber, will they crack? Thanks.

Probably one of those composite plastic deals. I bought the steel ones.

I have both ramps and jack+stands. The ramps are just fine for oil changes and basic stuff that doesn’t require the wheels to be taken off. Plus they do less damage to old a$$ cars cough*3rd*gen*cough cause of rusty undercarriages. Plus you don’t have to worry about jerk off friends that fail to put the e-brake on while your changing their cars oil, cause at worst it will just roll off the ramps, away from your head.

Use jackstands...

Car ramps are unsafe...Especially plastic ones...

I have those ramps and they are great. 12K Capacity. The 17 degree angle is good for lowered cars. They are great for changing the oil.

I also have 4 hd jacks stands, 2 floor jacks and if my dreams come true a real lift is in my future.

Yes it is.

Car ramps aren't worth it and I agree with everyone here that jack stands are the way to go.

Just look how many people here have stated that those ramps should not be used. And none has actually explained why they think so...

I have those ramps and use them very often. Even though they are made of plastic they hold the front of a maxima without any problems.

ah hem.... I had metal ones and they did colapse. Drove up em... about the time I step out the car...bam Passenger side folded.

If this happened with metal, why would you risk using plastice.

dont be lazy or cheap... Do it right, do it once, dont pay the price

My steel ramps that I bought 3+ years ago have held up real well. Each runner is rated to support 1500lbs each (combined support weight of 3000lbs).

I have a set of Rhino Ramps. They work great.

I'd get the heavier duty ones to be on the safe side.

My only complaint is that they won't stay put whn I drive a RWD vehicle like my truck on them, they just slide forward. Work fine with a FWD vehicle

I have the AutoZone Rhino ramps, I use them with my 4Runner several times and no problems, I could park the truck on them all day, it's pretty thick plastic
